Difficulty level 

Granted, all INICET exams are difficult but as for INICET May 2023, it proved to be more on the difficult side for a majority of the students. This is largely due to the fact that there were so many multiple-choice questions with two or more correct answers. 

In our survey, approximately, 70% of the students found INICET May 2023 to be moderately difficult. 

Topics

This INICET May 2023 was a mixed bag when it came to topic selections. Most questions were from the subject of Microbiology and Pathology.
As for the topics, the latest disease, i.e., Covid-19 was the highlighted topic of the exam. 

Exam Pattern

One of the major challenges faced by students in INICET May 2023 was the high number of multiple-choice questions with multiple correct options, as mentioned previously. 

This also made the paper lengthy and created anxiety among students. 

INICET May 2023, followed the known concept of AIIMS and incorporated one complicated choice into the question.

Clinical Scenarios

Based on our survey, 60% (average) of the questions were clinical-based in INICET May 2023. However, do keep in mind that this statistic was widely varied.

Image Based Questions

Now, when it came to image-based questions, our students gave widely different answers. 

But with the recent change of pattern, more image-based questions were added to INICET May 2023. 

This exam had 40-50 image-based questions like ECG ministers, nerve blocks, etc.
