I\u2019ve recently appeared for <strong>INI-CET 2021<\/strong>, and achieved Rank 9 (All-India). Not bragging, but I\u2019m proud of myself for the efforts I\u2019ve put through.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, I would like to thank my family, peers, and most importantly DBMCI for giving me this confidence I was thriving for. What kept me going during this pandemic was my dedication to discipline. I\u2019ve been a topper in my MBBS years consistently, and that\u2019s what kept me motivated to start my preparation for INI-CET.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"#Rank9 in #INICET 2021 Dr. Akansha Nag talks about her eGurukul journey\" width=\"678\" height=\"381\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EpwL_vkRwyM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried to stay away from all distractions and negativity going around and focused only on my goal. I used to study regularly and made sure that I finished my target at the end of the day. It was a roller coaster journey for me. Not every day was smooth, there were days where I felt a bit low. But still, I used to stick to my pace of study and kept it going. So, for me, Discipline is one of the major factors that helped me stay strong and motivated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At times, when the exams like <strong>NEET PG and INI-CET<\/strong> were getting postponed, I and my friends in the study group used to get anxious a bit. But after some time, we used to comfort each other and start from where we have left off. I have never had any sort of distraction hamper my preparation schedule.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started my preparation for INI-CET after my <strong>MBBS Internship<\/strong>, in March. Then, I started with the first-year subjects, then the second year, and so on. That was the order in which I went. After going through all 19 subjects, I purchased the <strong>eGurukul Test Series<\/strong>, which amplified my preparation. I used to give one Grand Test per week. The benefit of taking the eGurukul Grand Tests is it helps to analyse the answers to the questions, evaluate your performance, and understand where you need to improve.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had scheduled my weekends to give the tests. On Sundays, I used to review them and analyse where I did go wrong and try to rectify them. The Grand Tests play a very major role in your preparation. One should start early giving the tests. These tests help you to build endurance, state of mind for attempting the exam. Even how to make a calculated guess comes out by attempting multiple<strong> DBMCI eGurukul Grand Tests<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In INI-CET, the quality of the questions was very good. A maximum number of questions were integrated. The paper was unexpected. Usually, the paper set by AIIMS is quite unpredictable, but this time it was just the opposite.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I advise all aspirants to stick to one source. Do proper revision. Make notes which will benefit you in the long run. While preparing for any competitive exam, make sure to have all your information glued to one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made a notebook which I\u2019ve divided subject-wise. Like for example, if I\u2019m reading Anatomy, then all the information about that will go to that one place. The other note consists of all the high-yield materials such as the mistakes I\u2019ve done in the previous year papers, Grand Tests etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My message for all aspirants who are preparing for <strong>NEET PG<\/strong> would be, don\u2019t rush. Utilize these last 40 days efficiently. It\u2019s like a make or break situation. I\u2019ve seen people who have made drastic changes in their ranks. From three-digit rank to single-digit rank, quite inspiring. Hold yourself and give your best. Don\u2019t over-read the chapters.
