How DBMCI eGurukul Tests and Discussions helped Dr. Sourabh Singh to achieve 6th Rank in INI-CET 2021

Dr Sourabh Singh, who achieved 6th Rank in INI-CET July 2021, shares his success journey. In this interview, he talks about his preparation strategies, hurdles he had to go through and much more.

Firstly, I would like to thank my family, friends, and all the faculties of DBMCI eGurukul who made my journey special and helped me achieve my dream.

Hello, My name is Saurabh Singh. I’ve completed my MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, and today I’ll be sharing my success expedition with you. To begin with, in my 1st and 2nd year of college, I followed the standard textbooks and attended academic classes. I made notes and went through them deeply. I wasn’t preparing for the entrance tests at that time.

Later, when I was in my 3rd year, I started preparing for the medical entrance exams. I used to make notes of the topics and questions and prepared according to that. It helped me at the time of revision. I took DBMCI eGurukul Grand Tests frequently to test my knowledge. When I attempted my first GT, I scored around 190 in the beginning. It somehow made me feel like a winner. After that, I started giving GTs and saw a growth in my performance.

My strategy was to be clear with the concepts first. So, I made notes of a particular topic and started solving the MCQs related to that. I solved questions from eGurukul Question Banks. It helped me a lot in reviewing my performance.

I also enrolled for eGurukul NEET PG Tests and Discussions. The questions were completely clinical-based, which made it fun with learning.

The series helped me to take my preparation level a notch higher. The tests and discussions have Grand Tests and subject-wise tests which clear the concepts from the base. The video lectures give a detailed explanation of the topics that you find difficult to grasp. The recall questions are a bonus to your preparation strategies. However, I could not cover much of it.

Lastly, I must say that choosing DBMCI eGurukul was one of the best decisions that I’ve taken for my career.

Overall I attempted around 198 questions in INI-CET, as I had studied about it at the time of revising all the subjects. It made me feel confident. This was my second attempt, and I was pretty confident that I would be able to clear the exam with a good rank.

My advice to all aspirants who are preparing for NEET PG is that, do not lose hope. Stay calm and revise the topics. Understand the basics and give your best.

Thank You!!
