NEET PG 2024 – Things to keep in mind

Now that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 has been over, aspirants are looking forward to NEET PG 2024. Despite the guidelines regarding the National Exit Test (NExT) by the National Medical Commission (NMC), it is unclear if the NExT will happen in 2024 or not.

Therefore, it is best to place your focus on NEET PG 2024, and here are some things to keep in mind.

Make a study plan:

Even with the uncertainty of the NExT or NEET PG 2024, the importance of a good study plan and following it cannot be ignored. As we mentioned in one of our previous NExT blogs, only the pattern of exams will be changed not the subjects or topics.

So, before you jump into preparation and revision, take your time to create an ideal study plan that works for you. Preparation should not be complex, stick to your timetable and remember you have what it takes to crack NEET PG 2024.

Make key dates visible:

What we mean by making the key dates visible is that glue a print-out of the registration date, the last date to fill out the form, NEET PG admit card, NEET PG exam date, and registration for online counselling to a wall or cupboard. You can also have a note on the home screen of your mobile phone to always have these dates visible.

We understand that you may be following the NEET PG 2024 carefully; however, with continuous and intense preparation, these things can sometimes skip our minds. So, it is best to see them daily to remind you of the dates. Plus, it also helps you align your preparation more efficiently.

Make an exam strategy:

Preparation and revision are crucial for success in NEET PG 2024; however, we must also understand that once we enter the examination hall, both of these end there. From this point onward, only a carefully planned exam strategy will help you solve the question paper effectively. While there are numerous strategy guides on the internet for NEET PG, we strongly advise that you come up with your own exam strategy that works for you.

To create the same, give grand tests for NEET PG as much as you can, and analyze your areas of strength and weakness. This will not only help you reflect on your performance but will also help you understand what questions to attempt first and create your unique exam strategy. The eGurukul app is the ideal source for this.

Make yourself a priority:

We want you to succeed in NEET PG 2024 every bit as much as you want to succeed; however, it should not come at the expense of your health, both physical and mental. At times, we get so absorbed in preparation and revision that we tend to forget about eating or even sleeping.

At DBMCI, we care for you, and your health is equally important to us as your NEET PG 2024 rank. So, never ignore your health in the quest for success. Coming back to the first point, add designated meal times, rest breaks, and sleeping times to your schedule. This will help you keep your physical health in check.

As for your mental health, we understand it can get overwhelming and lonely on this journey; however, you don’t have to feel this way. Feel free to connect with us and talk about your concerns, whenever you feel overwhelmed to ease and refresh your mind. We are here for you, all the time.

Lastly, we would like to say that you have what it takes to crack NEET PG 2024. We strongly recommend that you join DBMCI Live Regular Batch and Test & Discussion which are specifically aimed at NEET PG/NExT 2024. These will help you prepare and revise for all subjects in a period of 7 to 8 months.

Just focus on your goal, and believe in yourself, just as much as we believe in you.
