MBA

Is MBA after MBBS a good option? Well, doing MBA after MBBS is getting popular day by day for medical students and is found as a great career option. One can go for various specializations such as hospital management, medico-management, medical administration, pharmaceutical management etc. Most of the doctors are attracted to MBA courses, because of their managerial skills, which can help them in their own practice or pursuing interdisciplinary careers like hospital management. Clinical Research

There is a huge demand for clinical researchers in India. Research opportunities are offered by renowned colleges such as CIMAP, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, and St. John’s Research Institute, and Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). Candidates can even join WHO. They can pursue PhD in AIIMS, PGI, NIMHANS, and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai.

Masters in Health

It is a three-year postgraduate degree course. The skills that are required are – Managing Big Speciality Hospitals etc.

Combined Medical Services

This is another great option after MBBS. However, it is a part of UPSC. The exam is conducted twice a year- July and August. To get into this career one has to qualify for the exam. The options after getting selected in this field are –
