FMGE June 2023 – Application form, Exam Dates, Eligibility & more

FMGE June 2023 is right around the corner, and we are certain that you’ve given it your everything in its preparation. It must’ve been a challenging journey for you but we are certain you have what it takes to clear the FMGE June’23. Now, with the last months to go, it’s level up your revision. Additionally, there are some things that you must be familiar with for FMGE June’23, and here’s everything you need to know:

Application Form:

If you have not already, this is the very first step that you’d need to take to apply for the FMGE June’23. You can register for it on the official NBE website, and it’ll cost you INR 7,080 as an application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

These are the eligibility criteria for FMGE June’23:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
• The candidate must possess a primary medical qualification awarded by a foreign institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• The candidate must have completed the required period of study as specified by the MCI (minimum of 5 years).
• The candidate must have obtained the necessary eligibility certificate from the MCI.

Exam Date:

As of now, the official exam date for FMGE June’23 has not  been announced. But we can expect it to be held before the mid of the month. 

Exam Pattern:

Although the guidelines in the NMC Draft for NExT state that NEET PG and FMGE will be merged; however, it will not replace FMGE June’23. 

Therefore, it is best to stick with the current exam pattern, i.e., 300 MCQs from all 19 subjects to be completed in the allotted time of 3.5 hours. 

Also, to pass the FMGE exam, you must score at least 150 out of 300 marks in the exam.

Admit Card:

Once again, you can only get admit card once it is available on the official website of NBE. Do keep in mind that you’d need a hard copy of the admit card to take the FMGE June’23.

Application Fee:

The application fee for FMGE June 2023 is Rs. 8,000 for all candidates. However, the fee is subject to change, so keep checking the official website of NBE. The fee can be paid online using a credit/debit card or net banking.
