Undoubtedly, hard work and effort are required to ace FMGE Dec’22; however, there are some things that must be avoided and others that should be incorporated. These are the Do’s and Don’t for FMGE Dec’22.

Do’s for FMGE

Let’s start with things that you should do for FMGE Dec’22.

Make a timetable:

This goes without saying but you must create a timetable for your preparation and revision. Yes, FMGE Dec’22 is in just 2 months but taking the time to identify what part of the day you are most focused and energetic becomes crucial for revision.

Additionally, sticking to a schedule tricks your mind into getting into the zone of learning at the same time each day, which is certainly needed for FMGE Dec’22. You can also opt for FMGE revision-specific programs like Revision eXpress, which is launching on Oct 31.

Clear your concepts:

More often than not, students tend to skip over their doubts regarding concepts and fundamentals. Obviously, it shouldn’t be how you prepare for FMGE Dec’22.

Pay close attention to what basic concept is troubling you and get it cleared before focusing on other topics.

Familiarize with important topics:

High-yield topics make the most of the FMGE question paper and getting them down is essential for success. First, focus on important topics then revise additional topics.

If you are uncertain about what topics to study for, you can always pick up last FMGE question paper and go through it. Here are FMGE high-yield topics for radiology.

Solve MCQs regularly:

What’s the best way to learn? Practice! We highly recommend that you practice MCQs daily because it will help you get into the habit of solving questions.

There is no limit to how many MCQs you should do; however, ensure that you understand and get your doubts cleared for the ones you get wrong. It’s best to make mistakes during practice instead of in actual FMGE.

Dont’s for FMGE

Now, let’s focus on what you should not be doing for FMGE Dec’22.

Skipping sleep:

One of the worst things you can do for yourself while preparing for FMGE Dec’22 is skip sleep or sleep for a short duration. We understand maximizing revision is on your mind; however, sacrificing sleep will only make this process slower.

Therefore, make sure you are getting enough sleep and also eating healthy.

Rushing the syllabus:

Yes, we understand that time is of the essence right now for FMGE Dec’22 and you must accelerate your revision. But this does not mean that you need to rush the syllabus because it is best to understand the topics wholly.

Rushing the syllabus will only cause you to miss high-yield topics or not understand them.

Doubting yourself:

Questioning yourself about a concept or a topic is great, but questioning your ability to clear the examination is not something you should be doing for FMGE Dec’22.

We understand that examinations like these can make anyone nervous; however, you should never second guess yourself. We are here for you and we care for you.

Revising before the exam:

Revising high-yield topics again is never a bad idea; however, it becomes a problem when you keep going through them a day before the final examination.

This induces unnecessary stress and chances are you will even forget some of the topics you revised previously.

These were the do’s and dont’s for FMGE Dec’22. Are you ready for it?

All the best!
