With eGurukul 3.0 we are introducing the brand new feature palette to our existing and new eGurukul users to improve their experience as a student for a better learning flow.

NEW FEATURES:

Under our new eGurukul 3.0 Update we are introducing multiple new features for the improvements & enhancements in the engagement and providing a much more smooth experience to our users.

We are introducing the following new features:

• Change Course : Change your course whenever you want if you have accidentally selected or you wish to change it afterwards. 
• Multiple Logins : Login to multiple devices in case you want to watch video and attempt Question bank on another device at the same time**
• Dual Language Videos : Watch our new Hinglish / English by switching whenever you want*
• Quizeee Game : Play the game Quizeee and add fun factor to your studies.
• Continuing the test : Continue the test in-case for some reason you happen to leave it in-between.
• Speed Improvements : Drastic improvements in speed of Question bank, try it to believe it!

Change Course

Now the users who have packages from different courses while they are preparing for multiple exams at once, now have an option to change their course of their own. This will extensively save the student’s time as they don’t have to reach out to our support team every time to switch the course.

Steps to access:

• Login to your eGurukul Account.
• Open the Side bar/Hamburger menu.
• Tap on Course name.
• Select your desired Course.
• Click Accept on the pop-up.

**  Same modules can’t be accessed on multiple devices with same account, if a user do so it will lead to indefinite suspension of account. Please read our terms & conditions carefully.

* Note: timer won’t be stopped.

Multiple Login Feature

Earlier when the users were able to login in only one device at once to access our content and they were limited to one at a time only. In order to provide them a flexibility to attempt a test while they are watching a video we have provides an option where they can use multiple login features using . It will be smooth and hassle-free experience.

By using this feature the user will be allowed to login 2 devices at a time and if the user wants to access any 3^rd device they will see a pop-up with an option to logout one of their previously logged in device and proceed.

Please note this feature is limited to certain terms and conditions as mentioned below :

Effects on Existing Features:

• Videos:

The user who has logged in on two devices if tries to access videos on both devices at the same time they will be provided with the warning to stop as moving ahead will lead to account suspension. If the user still continues with the same then his account will eventually get suspended indefinitely. There will be 2 maximum warnings that completely depend on the user’s activity.

• Test:

If the user starts the test on one of the logged in device, tries to start the same test from same account but on another device, will get the message that the test is already initiated on another device and the whichever device submits the test first will be recorded and the results of the other device will be discarded and a message will be shown to the user that the result is already submitted.

• Question Bank:

In case of question bank also if the user is logged in one of the device, tries to start the same question bank from same account but on another device, will get the message that the question bank is already initiated on another device and the whichever device submits the question bank first will be recorded and the choices of the other device will be discarded and a message will be shown to the user that the result is already submitted.

In case your account has been blocked because of the suspicious activities on your account & to get it unblocked, please mail us your reason on studentsupport@dbmi.edu.in. We will verify and your account will be unblocked within 24 hours. If any suspicious activity is found again, the account shall be blocked permanently.

Dual Language Videos

Now for making the learning part more convenient for the students in 3.0 we are introducing dual lingual videos. Now user can access both Hinglish and English videos in eGurukul 3.0.

Steps to access:

• Login your eGurukul Account.
• Open the Videos section.
• Switch version to 3.0.
• Tap on the language toggle button.
• The user can shuffle between the layers to see the respective content.

Quizeee Game

Now learning with eGurukul 3.0 will be no longer boring as the users can participate in a battle of skills with Quizeee. Using desired subject and topics, students can compete with their friends one-on-one in Quizeee to test out their knowledge, they can prevent each other from winning with their superpowers.

Rules Of Quizee

• Two players can play the game either that can be random matching or the can play with their friends.
• Game will be of the following bets : 25/50/100 (Coins)
• Difficulty levels that can be selected as: Easy/Medium/Hard.
• Quizeee can be played on random subjects as well as selected subjects & topics.
• Quizeee basically consists of 10 MCQ questions which will be of 20 seconds each.
• Boosters are superpowers which players can use to dominate & prevent their opponents from winning.
• Boosters can be used by coins that the players own.

 How to add coins

• User Referral: 20 Coins
• Post a feed: 10 Coins
• Post an MCQ: 10 Coins
• Like a post: 5 Coins
• Share a post: 5 Coins
• Comment on a post: 10 Coins
• Complete Test: 20 Coins
• Complete QB Module: 20 Coins
• Rate a Question Bank: 20 Coins

Boosters and their uses :

• Glitch timer: Your opponent’s question timer will be glitched by applying this booster.

• Direct time decrease : Your opponent’s question timer will be reduced to 50% by applying this booster.

• Choice change option : Your opponent’s choices positions will keep on changing randomly on applying this booster.

• Slow typing : This booster will animate the text written on the opponent’s options and it will load with a typing effect.

• Frozen screen : Your opponent will see the freezing effect (7 sec) that will go away once they will continuously tap/break ice on the screen.

• Smog on-screen : This booster will bring the clouds of smog on your opponent’s screen that will go away when they continuously rub the screen.

• Mirror effect : This booster will make the choices on opponent’s questions to get reversed.
• Shield : This booster will protect you from your opponent’s booster whatever booster they will apply will get wasted.

• Mum’s calling : This will open up an overlay call screen on your opponent’s device that will go away on accepting & rejecting it multiple times.

Continue Test feature :

 The user can pause the test in-between and they can resume it latter in case they happen to leave it while attempting, this will help users to continue the test if for some reason they have to close it while it’s in progress. Please note that the timer of the test will not be paused even if you close the app and come back later. Test will be submitted automatically in case the timer runs out in the background.

Additional Features

To further improve the user experience we have optimized our application for a smoother and much more fluid performance. As of now all our modules such as Videos, Tests, Question Bank and Notes will offer up to 5x faster response and we have immensely reduced the loading time as well.
