NATIONAL MEDICAL UPDATES

  • Vaccines for children may be available in September and the trials for inoculating those between 2 to 18 years are underway, National Institute of Virology
  • First ‘Made in India’ 3-D printed heart valve developed in Chennai: Dr Sanjay Cherian. The heart valves were manufactured using specialized biopolymers that are very similar to human tissue, which can be directly implanted in heart patients.
  • India’s vaccination drive at its best: Crossed 64 crore mark.
  • India becomes the World’s second-largest manufacturer of PPE Kits.
  • Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in the Rohini area of Delhi conducted its first Narco analysis test and has become the first hospital in north India to provide the facility for such tests.

NEWER DRUGS

  • UAE rolls out China’s Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 3-17. The Gulf Arab state, which has among the world’s highest immunization rates and was already providing the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 12-15.

  • We had conducted GCLT (Grand Computer Live Test) in 50 cities all over India. This gave the aspirants a real-life exam experience, as the tests were conducted in labs.
  • We officially launched our LinkedIn Handle.
  • An orientation class was conducted for All Medical Students of Gulbarga by Dr. Sushil Vijay. The session was hosted at Gulbarga Learning Academy.
  • NEET PG Booster Test-7 was conducted for free for all aspirants to ace their preparation for NEET PG 2021.
