From Rank 6000 in eGurukul Grand Tests to Rank-7 in INI-CET 2021- Dr. Dhouli Jha shares her inspiring journey

Dr Dhouli Jha, who achieved 7th Rank in INI-CET July 2021, shares her success journey which will inspire everyone. In her interview, she talks about how taking regular Grand Tests and Revising helped her reach a rank that was unexpected.

This is a story of a student who made it from nowhere to somewhere no one expected.

Hello, My name is Dhouli Jha. I recently appeared INI-CET  2021 and earned All India Rank-7 which was something unexpected. I couldn’t believe it in one go. I thought I made some silly mistakes in the exam. I was expecting something under 50. Today, I share my story with you all guys.

Firstly, I would like to thank my family, friends who supported me throughout this journey. A special thanks to DBMCI eGurukul for being my mentor. Nothing could be possible without your guidance and support.

My journey with the DBMCI family started quite early. I got to know about the institute from a YoTube Video of Dr. Rajat Jain. I took the eGurukul Final Sprint first and found it very useful. The questions were completely clinically oriented. You have to answer 50 questions in 50 minutes which is quite challenging and motivating. It helped me to improvise with the new NEET PG Pattern

Later, when NEET PG got postponed on 18th April 2021, Dr. Nachiket Bhatia came up with a unique concept named “NEET PG Booster Series” on YouTube. I found it really helpful. The Grand Tests included in the series kept me on track despite all the negativity, depression, and postponement of the exams.

My strategy of preparing for the examination was to continuously attempt the tests. It kept me motivated. I had started giving the eGurukul Grand Tests before going through any notes. I wanted to rate my performance, without any preparation first. I appeared for the first Grand Test before my internship and I secured a rank of around 6000.

For me, GTs were never de-motivating. In fact, it was a challenge for me. I took the tests saying- “Arey! Yeh toh Normal Test hi Hai, Kaun dekhta hai”.  My aim was to score well in the real examination, therefore I took GTs regularly.

After all, we are doctors, our curriculum is designed in such a way that all the concepts are cleared by the end of the final year. Therefore, I would suggest attempting the GTs before starting your preparation.

Lastly, I would like to advise all my friends, colleagues, and aspirants who are appearing for NEET PG 2021, to keep revising. Practice questions on a regular basis. Take eGurukul Grand Tests twice per week. Follow the notes from whichever source you are preparing. You will achieve your goal.

Thank You!!!
