The National Board of Examinations has released the NEET PG Cut off 2021 soon after the declaration of the result. The cut off is the minimum marks that have to be secured in order to qualify for the admission process. In short, these are the qualifying marks and vary for various categories. For General category candidates, the NEET PG qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC is 40th percentile. On the basis of the NEET PG 2021 cut off, the medical graduates will be shortlisted for 24,547 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 12,780 Master of Surgery (MS) and 922 PG Diploma seats. NEET PG Cutoff 2021 (Released)
The National Board of Examinations has released the NEET PG Cutoff marks on 28th September 2021 along with the result.
To qualify for the exam, the candidate must score the minimum qualifying marks or cut-off marks set by NBE. Candidates who score equal to or more than the cutoff will be eligible for the further admission process. The NEET Cutoff Marks varies from category to category. Types of NEET PG Cutoff
The Cut-Off of NEET PG is considered for admission to the below Post-Graduate Medical Seats-
- 50% All India Quota seats (excluding former Jammu & Kashmir state)
- 50% State Quota seats (including state of Jammu and Kashmir)
Revised NEET PG Cutoff 2020
The original NEET PG Cutoff was released on 30th January. It was later revised owing to the shortage of qualified candidates for admission to MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses. Later, NBE has also announced the revised cutoff list.
